I am Kory Chase. I am cheesy, sappy, and I get goosebumps when “life moments” occur. I still believe in love that lasts forever and I am certain that children are the best thing that could ever happen to a person. I think being with the right partner makes a person complete and being pregnant makes a woman a superhero. I love life stories, and my own story has taken some twists and turns that have led me to a passionate love for photography.

Photography makes me smile. Being invited into people’s lives is a rare opportunity to share in what brings them joy. I want to stop time. I want to capture for my clients the moments that they will want to remember many years from today. I want them to see things they didn’t even notice during our time together. I want to make their love tangible, so that it can hang on their wall.

My take on style…there is nothing wrong with asking a kid to smile, just as long as you know I will also snap a shot when he is throwing a tantrum. Posed pictures have their place, and I certainly take my fair share of them, but real life happens throughout the shoot. Let’s face it, real life is entertaining! I like to think my photos are modern and unique and let the real personality of the subject shine through. I also like to think that I weigh what my driver’s license says I weigh…let’s hope my perception about photography is more accurate.
